Manage your user settings

IMPLEMENTATION

Each user in a Redox organization can view and edit the following user settings in the Redox dashboard:

  • user name
  • phone number
  • multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  • Redox dashboard password

Prerequisites

  • These instructions are for non-SSO organizations. Single sign-on (SSO) organization members can only edit their user name. No other fields are visible.

View user settings

  1. Log in to the dashboard.
  2. Click your username at the bottom of the navigation menu.
  3. From the user menu, select the User Settings option.
  4. The User Settings page opens.

Task 1: Edit your user name and phone number

  1. Follow the instructions to view user settings.
  2. Click in either the name or phone fields to edit them.
  3. Click the Save Changes button.

Task 2: Manage MFA

Learn more about Redox’s recommendation for MFA.

  1. Follow the instructions to view user settings.
  2. If you don’t have MFA enabled, a banner displays at the top with a warning that MFA hasn’t been enabled. Click the Enable MFA method button. If MFA is already enabled, look for the Multi Factor Authentication section to make changes.
  3. Under Preferred method, select the radio button for either text message or phone call.
  4. Enter the country code, then enter the phone number.
  5. Click the Send Activation button to finish enabling MFA.

Task 3: Reset your password

Review Redoxs password requirements.

  1. Follow the instructions to view user settings.
  2. Under the Change Password section, enter the new password.
  3. Enter the password again in the Confirm Password field.
  4. Click the Update Password button.
